Limbo lighting example setup

This is a project from many years ago, that I still think has relevant, exemplary visual details that help my clients and I discuss all of the options available to a studio shoot. Most frequently clients want to jump straight to what is currently trending like “white board” videos or filming team members speaking on a white cyc.

This was lit with an ARRI 1K with a chimera soft bank over head. The HVX200 hero shot stayed on the tripod and the HPX500 was rolling on a doorway dolly getting as many cutaways as we could get. The resulting imagery allows the story and messages to come through with little to no distracting b-roll footage whatsoever.
